The chanterelle is an amazing tasting mushroom that is often used in fancy restaurants when they are in season. Since chanterelles can't be farmed they must be foraged. The chanterelle actually doesn't have gills but it has folds that run partly downthe stem, which look like gills.
This mini mushroom is about 4cm tall and is carved from a single piece of basswood
All carvings are made to order and will differ slightly from the pictures.
